Being alive can be disorienting at times. Agreement may seem impossible. Consequences, inevitable.

The impact of the narratives surrounding and (de)forming our subjectivity is often ignored. Impositions and restraints of speech will often alienate the subject from singularity.

Desire may be numbed by forces we fail to name. Symptom, angst and  inhibition trespass our limits and everything we believe in the complex experience we call life.

Some of us will go many rounds looking for a single closed all encompassing answer without ever really considering the question being asked.

Psychoanalysis looks beyond. Beyond temporarily mitigating anxiety or depression. Beyond adaptation. Beyond enclosed meanings. It addresses a space where a desire is born and the being that bears it. 

A being with a history, but also with dreams.

A being with a voice.
